Ecocit is a global network of leading academics, industry partners and concerned public bodies focused on developing and transforming cities that are sustainable both ecologically and economically. Ecocit is funded by the EPSRC, the United Kingdom's Engineering and Physical Science Research Council. It is headquartered at Tanaka Business School, Imperial College London, and works with other institutions and industry partners from China, Australia, Spain and across the United Kingdom.

The project involved developing a new mark for the organisation and a website to introduce people to the objectives of the network, its members, the research currently underway, and the plans for new research.

The new website uses Flash elements, PHP and MySQL. It also uses a content management system allowing the client to make updates directly to the site.
